Keegan's Princess Birthday Party!

This Saturday was our friend Keegan's birthday party and she turned 6!  Keegan is the little girl that Suzie nannies for, so the three of us went decked out in our princess dresses too! (aka old bridesmaid dresses... put to great use!)  We organized it (mostly Suzie) and did the different activities at it.  There was hair (Keegan's mom and gma), manicures and pedicures (Suzie and Robyn), face painting (me), and crafts... making crowns and gluing jewels on flip flops.  It was an exciting time!!!  I'm pretty sure that I will be posting more of these later also!  Needless to say, the girls had a GREAT time, and they both would like to do it for their birthday's.  You should have seen their faces when Keegan opened her Mariposa barbie... Camryn's jaw dropped.  "She's sooo beautiful!!!"  I call dibs on getting both girls one for their birthday's :o)

Fun times!

Tinkerbell

Towards the end we all got a little crazy with the face paints and turned them into body paints.  Suzie was just the first of the many victims!

Camp Finale - Fiesta Friday

They had a fiesta at camp today, to celebrate the last day.  It was also a snake themed day.  There are plenty of snakes at the outdoor center, and the kids had a fun time investigating them closer.  They also got to play with the bunnies again... popular demand!

There are special snacks in the bags to share with our friends at camp!

Running up to the outdoor center, where all the magic happens.
Camryn at snack time.

Ms. F and the snake!

Mrs. M and Sunny Bunny!

That night the girls were playing in Adyson's room.  Camryn came out and behold... a beautiful princess... lipstick and all.  She applies it just like her mommy! :o)

Camp - Day 3

The theme in camp today was bunnies and turtles.  The kids had a chance to play with the two bunnies that live inside of the nature center, and investigate the ones that live outside too.  They learned what a painted turtle and a snapping turtle look like, and they went on a little walk to find some.  Unfortunately it was sprinkling, chilly, and cloudy, so the turtles didn't feel like coming out of the lake today.  It was all very fun though.
The usual before camp starts picture.

All the bunnies at home after camp.

You may be wondering what she is doing... she is pretending to lick a pine cone.  Why?  To help us remember that about 3 minutes before this picture she actually did lick one.  Yes, there is a story behind it.  She said that it tasted sweet.  She laughed for a long time after she did it, especially because she was on the phone with mommy when it happened.

Rewind once more

Here are a couple more from when Camille was here.  These are definitely not done, but I know Camille wanted to see some... so here you go!  :o)

Dora Camp - Dos

Today in camp they talked about robin's, along with many other things.  They inspected nests and feathers, went on a nature hike, and did some projects.  It was an adventurous day!  Then we went to the park (like usual).  Every park has a different name that the kids have given it, today we went to the "race car park".

Day 1 of Dora Camp

These pictures are from Tuesday's Dora Camp.  We were running a little late and the were eager to get in, so I didn't get as many pics as last year... they just weren't having it!

Rewind

Here are a few from when Camille was still here on Saturday.  We went to the MOA and it was great.  Both girls rode a big roller coaster for the first time.  It was an exciting, and slightly whining time, but it all was great in the end.

She had to have the dragon!

She had to have the zebra!

Who doesn't want to meet Jimmy Neutron?!

Name Change

I think that for the next couple of weeks that I should rename this blog.  Maybe call it the Camryn and Adyson show because I know that's all you all are coming to see, and that's basically my life right now anyway.  We are having so much fun!  The girls are so tired every night, and it's so cute how ready they are for bed. :o)  They bicker every once in awhile, but nothing extreme and they tend to work it out themselves.  It will be hard to part them in a couple of weeks!

Camryn and Camille

First off, I'm sorry that this hasn't been updated.  I tell you, I have had good intentions... but with finals and everything, it just wasn't happening.
Camryn and Camille came last Thursday!  Camille had to leave on Monday, but her and Chris let us keep Camryn for a few weeks of great fun!  This post is for them!  Before Camille left I was informed that Camryn did not like a whole list of foods... broccoli and fresh pineapple being a couple on the list.  She changed her mind tonight, and wanted to make sure that mommy and daddy knew!

Notice the turkey sandwich also.  She told me that she did not like turkey until I explained to her that it was meat.  She then decided that she liked it because cheetahs eat meat and can go fast, so if she eats the meat then obviously she will also be able to run faster!  It's all very logical.  I love you all, and there's more to come, for this is the week of Dora Camp!

The few more I promised!

For Grandmas

These are specifically for Grandma and Great Grandma... If you have fun with it too, then even better.  Also, if anyone else has any specific requests, let me know!  These were all I could load for now.  A few more will be up a little later.

New Bike

Adyson is getting taller and taller.  Suzie just realized it this morning while at Caribou with the children.  She's almost as tall as Keegan, and she wasn't just a couple months ago.  This could also mean that Keegan is shrinking, we aren't sure.  So for now we will assume that it's Adyson that is growing.  Because of this growth, a 12 inch tire bike will work no longer.
We made an adventure out of getting this new bike.  We went to Einstein Bagels for lunch first.  I met Robyn and Bethany there, and between all of us nannies we had 5 kids with us.  It was a great lunch!  The manager came to the table and said that he had never seen such a wonderful group of children enjoying themselves, and with great manners.  With that he gave everyone of us a free lunch coupon.  It was very exciting, at least for us nannies!  This means that we will be back there soon, AND that manners do matter :o)   After that we went next door to Toys-R-Us and tested a couple of bikes.  There was a purple and blue Schwinn that caught Adyson's eye, and the rest was history.  She's doing a great job on it, and hopefully by the end of the summer she'll be comfortable enough to take off the training wheels... we'll see.

Finally!

I know that many of you (my mom, because she's probably the only one reading this) have been waiting for a very long time to see us have something like this.  I figure if I'm on here reading my friends blogs all the time, I might as well have one.
You may be asking, "Why title your site 'The Fitzgerald'?"... This is a great question.  I titled it that because I didn't want to limit the happenings or posts to just me or a various Ryner girl.  I want this to be more than that.  There are 5 of us living in this house, and I think it would be great if we all share from time to time.
The Fitzgerald is what we have so lovingly named this house.  It happens to be the last name of the previous owners.  We never got around to taking their personalized knocker off of the door.  After a year we decided it just belongs there, and so gave it a special meaning to us.  Although we have never had the pleasure of meeting the Fitzgerald's we think of them often.  Like when we receive mail for them everyday even when we have told the post office and our mailman that they don't live here anymore, or when there's a problem with the house and we find that whatever it is, is being held together by duct tape.  I'm a fan of duct tape, but I've learned that you should not use it to hold your house together.  I'll post more on that fascinating topic later.  Well this is the first of many, and I hope that you enjoy!
